Gonna be out next Sunday or Monday Night. Anybody know anybody that is willing to play some cheap sets??

Best tables with a little action would be nice. Some place close to Congress street?? Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

If you're talking about this upcoming weekend (4/27), in Ayer we're having the Junior MA State Championship tournament. 9 footers, there is also a diamond 7' in the back room. I'll be there then along with a bunch of 18 and under kids playing for the title and a spot in Junior Nationals in KY.

The best room around Boston is probably Amazin Billiards (in Malden I think), it's a membership room and when I went there on Sunday, it got filled up fast with a waiting list of a few players.

Do you have transportation or only local?

Too bad it's next week and not the week after. I work at State Street near Congress St and could have met up with you but I'm on vacation next week. There aren't any places within walking distance that I know of. Closest place with 9 footers and action that I know of is Boston Bowl in Dorchester on Morrissey Blvd. Probably 10-15 minutes from Congress St by car on 93 south.

I think you will be hard pressed to find action in Boston or a pool room in general. Boston bowl is kinda dead IMO. If you have a car Stix and Stones half hour out of Boston might be your best bet. Jillians near Fenway but your unlikely to find a game there. Pool is a dying breed in the Boston area

VERY TRUE...
I agree on Stix and Stones if you can get that far.
The owner, Dan Milligan, is a great guy and loves to gamble. He plays real well.
