i just left jason a little over a half hour ago, and he said and i quote "if your not in the top 32 we can play what you want. if you are we can still arrange to make a game." sounds to me like he wants to play.

Since when does Kirkwood need to duck the top 32? He shoud be willing to play any person breathing even up as good as he plays. Forget Grand Rapids, get him a passport and a plane ticket to Manilla. I hear there are some unranked players over there who would be more than happy to match up with Jason and let him bet whatever. Some deep pockets in Manilla as well. If Kirkwood can win against the kids in Manilla then he could make some serious money. Forget about trying to trap chumps over here and beg for weight against known players. Go to the Phillipines and get all the action you want against unknowns.
I don't take anything "personally" here. I am not a person on this forum, I am just a "name of convenience" who spouts ideas based on content. I might respond to a comment that was delivered in a personal nature but that is usually just in fun and not meant to be personally insulting.
So, NP on my end but thanks for the concern.
There are plenty of other forums I am on where I am a person and on those forums my "person" is quite safe. Given the recent escalation to taking matters beyond civility and beyond the confines of this forum based on content that is intensely insulting and "who" someone is rather than just discussing topics for their intellectual merit keeps me perfectly content to just be a purveyor of ideas without the need for accreditation. It also means that I am not a personal target, or at least not a fun one to play with.
