john hager jr and brian groce got it on last night at airport billiards in indy....they played a 12 ahead 10 ball session for about 20000 large and it lasted about 6 hours with brian getting the dough!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update.I watched some of the match but didnt get to see it all.I had to work this morning.I watched until about 1:30.Hager didnt seem like he was all together last night.Is Hager staying around? or hitting the road.Thanks
 
was Groce playing with his Madison Bob Cue? i understand he has been playing with these cues lately, claims his game took off once he started playing with them.

your trying pretty hard to make that sale arent you??? send me a PM on how much you want for the cue and where i can take a look at some pictures... and congrats to Brian for taking off Hager.. he is a jam up player and i know Brian is also... i bet that was one hell of a match...
 
Yep, Madison Bob Cue

yep, i'd like to sell the Madison Bob Break Cue. but as i understand it Brian Groce does play (or at least has been playing) with a Madison Bob cue lately. check it out at Madisonbobs.com, he had a picture of Groce on his website.

ok, i will send you the PM on the cue, i am gonna try and get some better pictures early next week and then i can send them along.

To all, I spoke with Brian at Ft. Wayne this weekend and he was pretty surprised about this open invitation to play. I think you should ask someone before you set up games for them. Brian asked me to delete this thread, but I told him I couldn't. He then asked to post this for him.

He said " I do not have an open invitation to all comers and have no interest in pursuing action at this time. I have a job and very little time to play. I'm not scared to play, you've known me a long time, and you know that's not the case. I just have no real interest in playing right now. Whoever put that on there should have asked first."

Tony, I'm not sure who won, sorry but I didn't stick around. I won a couple of matches and then lost to Brian Gregg in the winners side. Then won a couple of matches and lost to Brian Groce. I played well thru most of the weekend and can't complain about the guys who beat me. I love playing both of them as they're both excellent players, but it's much better when I win. I think Brian Gregg and Denver were the last 2 in the winners side. Steve Oaks and Brian Groce along with Waldo and George Breedlove still in the 1 loss side and possibly 2 other players. It was a small field but still pretty tough. Sam

Thanks.I did hear that Hagar and George are supposed to play tonight.I heard that yesterday .I live just a few minutes from airport so i may pop in to see what is going on.
I agree with Hemi,Hagar and his dad are very nice.Hager was practicing at Airport last night and was very friendly and chitchatting with everyone.His dad was nice as well.We had a quick hello, how are you., as he walked by the table i was playing on.So it was a nice change to seem some hospitable road agents.lol

this is john smith. the guy who bought you in the calcutta in ft wayne....... the reason why brian groce said that was because he didnt want to get anything stirred up.....but beleive me if a player wants to come play they will get played by brian......that is the reason i posted the open invite. and now about john hager.........all that needs said is "has as much gamble and heart as anyone in this world" all the other road guys always dodge brian but john came looking for brian!!!!!! he knows that to win the real money you have to beat the best!!!!!! he has put himself in a position to win 50000++++ if he can beat brian...if being the key word.
