Action in Oslo

Last weekend two players were playing 1800 $ a rack in 10-ball here in Oslo, and right now I am watching two other players who match up in 8-ball.

The handicap is that player 1 needs the 8 in the same pocket as his last ball, and player 2 has a free 8.

They are playing for 1000 $ a rack, 4 ahead. They have been playing for 6 hours now, and player 1 is 3 ahead after a beautyful bankshot on the 8.

Looks like the good old gamblin' days are back in Norway :D

that sounds really freggin awsome!

don't mean to be rude roy, but what do you mean with good ol gamblin days in oslo? thought the only bet they know of was the speed of a horse ass.

Before I started to play people were gambling for 1 000 $ very often, now it is hard to gamble 100 $ with someone.

The rumour is that one Norwegian player lost about 170 000 $ alone to many players during some years before he quit playing.... (Pooladdict, can you confirm?)

Anyway, some of the stories here were that players were waiting with their car down the road, and when they saw this player come up the road they made sure to drive quickly up next to him and give him ride to the poolhall the last hundred meters, then they could play him first that night :D
