Does anyone know if there is any action in Tucson? I've heard of a guy named Angel down there, does anyone know how he plays? Anybody else down there?

The main Pool Room is Tuscon is Main Stret Billiards. bob Jackson is the owner and pretty much know everone in Tuscon. I also understand there are a couple of smaller rooms that cater to the Hispanic player/trade only. Ask Bob...

Sure, there is action here. If you look in the right places at the right time.

Angel plays OK...along with a few others. Come on down to Tucson, someone will match up. Walk in either Main St. or Click's and say your looking for a game. It won't take too long...(most of the time)

How do you play??

Tucson Action

Cheap action can be had at any of the rooms in town. If you want to bet a little more, good action can be found at Main St or Pockets from time to time, but your best bet is Clicks. Action around here is not as good as it was a few years ago, but it's still pretty decent.

Main Street has tourneys all the time, but it's definately not the "main" room in town, and I'm confused by Coco Cowboys hispanic comment. He obviously hasn't been in the other rooms in town.

I'm not going to knock anyones action, but Angel plays at Clicks, he might bet a little, and I'd be happy to assist in setting up a game for you. He's also not the only action in town.

If you're going to be in town, I'd be happy to show you around, and maybe even play a little.

Thanks man, I might go the weekend after Easter. I'll PM you if I do and maybe we can play some. I've been there before, I played at Clicks once and I've spent some time at Main Street, didn't like the equipment there though. I played a guy they called "Mississippi" but I heard he's not around anymore.

It might not hurt driving up to Phoenix either. There is plenty of Action up here. Head to Kolby's in Tempe and you will find action.

I would call Main St. they may be having a tournament on March 29th.

If they do there may be some side action.

There are several good players in Tucson. If need be, some of us Phoenix players may make the trek down to play some as well. If you're in Tucson on the weekend of April 12, Main Street will be hosting the second leg of the AZ. Desert Classic Tour. It will be a big table 8-ball tournament. Check www.desertclassictour.com or www.azpoolscene.com for details.

Maybe up your action a little and you will find something. Try betting at least some sort of currency printed on paper :D:D:D

Is that not now the case and you're out looking for lunch money??

Try the Boys Club in your area.
