The only cues made in Japan that i know of is the Musashi line and a couple of the Mugen line. Everything else is made in same factory that makes Lucasi, Predator, etc. No ADAM cues are made in the US.

Same play my last 5 Cases were made, and the off shore work make great, good, not so good, bad, and junk.
JBCase are like the best thing going be you get Chevrolet model? Or fully tooled Ferrari model.

And the factory in Japan was totaled in a Tsunami in 2000?
No they are not. The plant in Sayama is still open. Most are made in China but the Musashi and from time to time a hi-end Mugen are made in Japan.
WTF??? The tsunami didn't hit Tokyo. I've talked to , well emailed, the reps for the Americas. I got their contact info. from Alan Hopkins. They told me if i ever wanted a Musashi made to contact them. Very expensive cues, they run about $3000/up.
Here's a Musashi 'bushka: https://www.cue-shop.jp/shopdetail/000000001194/ Price is about $3700 USD. I've only seen one Musashi and they are as nice as any cue i've seen. Workmanship is on par with any custom maker.
The tsunami you are referring to that affected the factory happened in 2011
