Adam info please?

Adam Cues with Brass Pins and Rounded
I do know that the 1st Catalog Cues and R/A and A/H Cues from the 1970's had the Brass Pins and these were Pointed Pins. After this I do not know the exact Year that the transition took place but I think it was in the late 1970's to the very early 1980's and I believe this was the same time the Pointed pins changed to the rounded pins.
Sorry I cant provide exact dates, I am sure Manwon or one of the other Adam/Helmstetter experienced guys will come to the rescue for info.

I just bought an original Monte Carlo 1st Catalog Adam off the ebay, it was the butt only, from 1970 to 1973, pointed pin and brass joint. I was luck enough to find this one where the sticker had not been removed and was in above average condition (sticker-wise), I got the cue and re-wrapped the 3 section original wrap, re used the original material to keep it 100 percent original and after doing this, the wobble in the description was gone and the joint pin was polished just a bit to keep the patina. It is a beautiful example of 1st Catalog Adam cue work. I am very happy to have it in my collection, since the first cue I ever got and I still have was a early Adam Sabre Model cue that belonged to my grandfather and was passed to me when I started playing pool when I was 5, I was given the cue when I turned 12, when I was tall enough to properly use a full length cue, this was in 1981.
