If it's an Adam Jayman will know what it is.
I can't find it in any of my Adam brochures or catalogs.
Some Adam cues did use joint rings that looked at least similar to that. But I don't think those veneers look up to snuff for an Adam cue. Not sure.
Did the old butt cap have an Adam logo? That would really be spectacular if it did.
Here is one I addressed a while back. Same joint rings and weight bolt. I was pretty confident it was not an Adam cue but a Taiwan import.

I really like the wrap. It's the old stuff. Pretty sure it's Cortland. I cleaned it while I had it in the lathe.

refinish
The buttcap that was on the cue didn't have an Adams logo. That may be because someone made a horrible attempt to fix the split cap. Looked like Gorilla glue that had seeped out all over the cap. I figure that the logo may have been sanded off before glue was applied. Sure would like to find out if it is an Adams cue, and which one... In any event, I fixed the buttcap and gave it a refinish so that it can live again. I may sell it. If it doesn't sell - I will keep it around. It's an attractive old cue.
