Adams or Helmstetter?

Hi All,

I just picked this cue up. It has the typical sharp brass pin with nickle joint that you would see on '70's vintage Adams or Helmstetters, but I can't find a similiar model in the BB. It also has the "bullseye" MOP/ebony dots like you would find on the "Iberia" or "Alitalia" models. There are over 100 MOP dots, and a very interesting set of points. The cue is solid and has a nice soft hit. Any ideas what it is? Sorry, I don't have better pics...

Thanks!

Steve

Steve,

It would help getting bigger pics of the butt, but I do think it's an Imperial from the late 1970's, early 1980's built on a forearm that is derived from Adam but made entirely in Taiwan.

Besides their own line of cues, they had bought the name "Rich" and so were making cues in the Rich style (but without a window) and put the Rich name on it. That's my guess. Look at the Rich Q's in the Blue Book and you'll see what I mean.
