Has anyone seen Wei lately? He's actually an old friend of mine who I used to run into EVERYWHERE. I even ran into him in a poolroom in Las Vegas 4 years ago! Now, I don't see that kid at all anymore.

For those that don't know him, he's really one of the nicest guys.

Being thousands of miles away, I do not know Wei. However I was recently contemplating his contribution to us Internet pool fanatics. It is truely a magnificent thing he has done by creating the table and making it so readily accessible to all. In the years since the 'RSB Pooltable' was released, it has aided in our discussions like nothing else. The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words is so true when discussing pool shots, and he gave us the ability to easily create the pictures. If you do happen to see him Jude, please tell him that there are people out here who are extremely grateful for his work. He deserves to be a household name in our community, and I do believe that he is coming close to that honour daily.

I actually met Wei around the time he first started playing pool (I wanna say 1997 but it's all a blur). He's a programmer (as many of you have already assumed) from Asia, I believe Taiwan but I can't remember off-hand. He loves pool and billiards with his favorite game being 1-pocket though don't let that lead you to believe he can't pocket balls. His 9-ball game ain't too shabby, either. If there's one thing he's known for, it's how he likes to party A LOT. When we did play out of the same room, every single pool session would end with him asking, "Where we going now?" Often times, this meant going to a 24-hour room or a bar (or both).

If you do get the chance to meet him, do so and clear your evening. He's a lot of fun.
