Addicted Triangle Duds

Why Soak and Press ?

I know that soaking Elk Masters in milk and pressing them, works.
I have a friend who makes Milkduds for Efren and he gave me some.
They play great.

So what is the reasoning for soaking?
Some people here are using Milk and others Elmers Glue.
I don't know but I have to believe that Elk Masters are processed some how, are they using glue?

Casein works as a glue why would you want to soak a single layered tip in Glue?

Why would you soak a multilayer tip in Casein?
I can visualize the leather soaking the Casein but not the glue layers?

How does pressure affect the tip?
More pressure harder tip, less pressure softer tip?

I am not a Rocket Scientist, just want to understand?

Hymm, I do work for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space.
Hymm, maybe that's why I play so bad I'm a "Staff, Senior Systems Engineer".

Sounds like what you need to do is find a materials and/or chemical engineer and find out.
I use to work for MS2 before the layoff of 2011, as Hardware Engineer II.
Is Staff, Senior Systems Engr Lvl 4 or lvl 5?

Where did yo get Casein Protein.
What brand.

Tried to order your tips, couldn't find them?

Not to confuse things for you but Therefro never referred to anything about making his tips from Casein Protein that was me, though he makes his own tips. Before anyone try's to hijack my thread you can contact me in privet messaging if you are interested in my tips...

THERENFRO I understen your tying to get your name out there and best of luck to you. But try and not hijack my thread, I know you didn't mean to but please be careful.

-Thanks

No worries I will stay out of the thread from this point on..

For the first several pages the discussion was about the processing of milk duds with a spin to elmers and back again... I responded to a direct question from Barney and had not been using this thread to attempt to sell my tips which you are correct in stating don't use the casein protein..

Now that I see with the last posts and the edit to the original that you are selling tips and not just discussing the dud process and merits of the treated tips I can understand you feeling that I would be a hijacker..

I have posted in several milk dud threads and given people process info thru PMs that were interested.. The writeup found out on the web is close but is full of incorrect information so usually people need a little help... Had I know this thread was going to end up being a sales thread I would have kept my nose out from the beginning.....

Good luck
Chris
