Why Soak and Press ?
I know that soaking Elk Masters in milk and pressing them, works.
I have a friend who makes Milkduds for Efren and he gave me some.
They play great.
So what is the reasoning for soaking?
Some people here are using Milk and others Elmers Glue.
I don't know but I have to believe that Elk Masters are processed some how, are they using glue?
Casein works as a glue why would you want to soak a single layered tip in Glue?
Why would you soak a multilayer tip in Casein?
I can visualize the leather soaking the Casein but not the glue layers?
How does pressure affect the tip?
More pressure harder tip, less pressure softer tip?
I am not a Rocket Scientist, just want to understand?
Hymm, I do work for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space.
Hymm, maybe that's why I play so bad I'm a "Staff, Senior Systems Engineer".
