Adding weight to shaft?

I'm having a shaft made, 29,5". 12.20 long pro taper, 3/8-10 phenolic insert. The weight of the shaft will probably be a bit on the light side(because of the standardized weight of the laminated wood). I would like to add about 0.37oz, question is how would you add that weight?

What is the final weight that you want??

You can add weight in the joint end of the shaft and then put in the phenolic insert and tap it. I wouldn't add weight to the tip.

I'd like to hit the 4oz mark. I using a longoni s2 blank. How eould you add the weight, led/wolfram/epoxy, ledstaff used for adding weight to golf clubs?

I've had my cuemaker add weight to shafts by epoxying in a tiny screw from the joint end. Works well, no mess, and can be done in minutes.

Tungsten powder mixed with epoxy dropped into the (elongated) hole above the insert can be used as well.

reducing weight in a shaft

When a hole is drilled in the ferrule end of the shaft, you obviously remove wood and weight.

What material can be used to fill that hole, that will be lighter and stronger than the wood you removed?
