Zack's "On the Road" Cue Repair
Silver Member
I just bought a new Smart TV and when I try to stream POV it says I need a different version of Adobe. Has anyone had this same problem and what version should I use?

Any help would be great

Most Smart TVs will not be able to play Flash movies from the built-in web browser. Try to find or download the Ustream app on your TV. Then, find POVPool from within the app.

Alternatively, you could just connect your computer to your TV via HDMI or DVI cable, and watch as you normally would on your computer.

POV is streamed with Upstream , download the app best result I agree with Blake

I also have a samsung smart tv. I have it wired with the Ethernet cable. I downloaded the app for ustream and I still can't view live matches, only the archived ones. After emailing Ustream multiple times for support, and no answer. I gave up.

I just use my laptop now and hdmi. Much better off regardless. One nice thing about doing it this way is, if there is a stop in the game you can easily change hdmi inputs with the remote and watch regular TV for a while and then switch back, as opposed to having to totally re-type in the links and or favorites with the arrows on the keypad. That's a pain.

That's all fine and dandy, but

The timing is perfect. Go out and but a chromecast for $25, set it up and just stream the site right from your computer or phone. Next to my Mac it's the best device I've ever bought. I even stream movies to the tv from it using the "file manager" extension for the family or my daughter. Google phone users can actually stream their entire phone on the tv.

Oh and did you know that if you click to stream something (apart from the device switching the input automatically) and the tv is off it will turn the tv on and put it on that input.

I'm obviously from the stone age. What is the difference between this and hdmi besides being wireless to the computer? 25 bucks sure seems reasonable, but placing the laptop next to the TV with an hdmi wire is ok for me also so long as a computer has to be on regardless.

Also, how do you.... or, I should say, why would you stream your entire phone to the tv? LOL, keep in mind I have a very nice 9 dollar tracfone that I pay 100 a year for and call all the same people my wife calls and she pays 100 a month.

This is where I think I'm getting confused. You are mirroring your TV FROM your phone or TO your phone? You said from .. did you mean to so you can watch tv from your phone?

I just wanted to watch the Mosconi cup in 40" and with two Samsung products I can watch it on the TV. But it is playing on my phone also

All browsers and devices work with the new On Site Pool Network. Even on flip phones. :) www.onsitepool.tv
