I posted this in another thread but I decided to post it separately as a complete workout..
lots of people post drills this is a collection of drills some taken from elsewhere others designed by me..
this is an extremely effective workout.. but only if you have good mechanics..if you don't you'll drive yourself crazy trying to master it..
shoot every shot until you both make it and achieve proper position
first I hit 5 centerline drills bringing the CB back to my tip as a warm up
then I hit a stop shot line 5 each at 1-5 diamonds away
I practice fractional ball for cut shots I shoot 10 shots each at 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4 ball..for each cut angle I shoot with
stun, roll, follow, draw, top right, center right, low right, top left, center left, and low left and repeat each shot cutting in the other direction
then I hit the straight line again using a chalk to mark the last diamond, 5 shots one at each distance with the CB ending at the marked spot then move the chalk one diamond closer and shoot 5 more ect.. until the chalk is at my CB starting point .
and finish by shooting that straight line again.. 6 shots at each position,
top right, center right, low right, top left, center left, and low left..
every standard shot in pool is a variation on the centergistic workout presented above
I do that at least 4 times a week..
then one day a week I have a kicking and banking workout that I will not post because it's not mine to post
and twice a month I do the full mother drill workout
I feel I have a very comprehensive training program
I'll post again in a moment showing the ball placements for this workout
