I quit playing (B- was my ceiling) in 2019, concentrating on Investing. That worked out. I retired at age 52 in 2023. Looking to get back in 2026.
I carelessly took care of my Lucky 7 QR with a 314 z2 QR to the point that it hit the floor one too many times, and the entire ferrule popped.
As I said, looking to get back into the game, I recently moved and ended up just 4 houses away from a local bar that has Free Pool EVERY DAY! Who does that?!
My goal is continued Low Deflection for whatever Shaft I end up using, or a New Stick altogether. I've never played anything else for Tip but at least Medium Tiger Everest, yet I'm still looking for a bit more CB action as I have the 'touch' of a brick layer (Yes, I picked the wrong hobby lol).
Would you go with another LD shaft manufacturer with a QR, or, just replace the L7 entirely (I've had the stick for 14 years, love the look at the wrap)?
I see that CF seems to be all the rage these days.
