Advice Needed: Ferrule Replacement...

I have an early 1970's Original Palmer. The cue is in imaculate shape, but after 30+ years of play, the ferrule needs to be replaced. It's still intact, but it's starting to taper as it gets closer to the tip. I'm guessing that it's from 3+ decades of tip replacements and other maintenance. The person that used to work on the cue is no longer around, and I don't necessarily want to take it to the local pool hall 'proshop' to replace it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that he/she is probably capable, but I don't want to take any chances.

I'm curious if any of you could recommend a trusted cue maker or technician that would be well suited to do this. I live in Seattle and would love to keep it in the northwestern states. However, if need be, I would consider shipping it further away.

Try Roger Petit my wife has one of his cues and the last time i saw him he was working at Harvey's billiards in auburn awesome guy and great cue builder.
