Advice on International Shipping

Hi guys! I'm currently in the process of getting a cue case from one of the regular sellers here and he gave options as to how he'll be sending the package. Since i'm a little cash strapped, I was wondering if USPS Air Parcel Post would be a smart choice or would i just shell out a little extra for FedEx or UPS? Forgive me for the dumb question but this would be the first time I'd be ordering internationally. By the way, the package would be headed for the Philippines. Your advice for a noob such as me would be greatly appreciated! :)

USPS is just fine

I have my own buisness on ebay and I ship stuff internationally everyday. I'm using USPS and I don't have any problems with them. Only make sure that you have INSURANCE!!! I ship everywhere and they are fast enough. Depand on where a package goes it will take from 4 days to 2-4 weeks.

Hi, I ship my Stroketrainers all over the world. Anything out of the US i use USPS and ship it express mail. This is 3 to 5 day delevery time. Please make sure you put insurance on it and i think you will be ok. UPS charges me alot more then USPS that is the reason i use it. Good Luck

Thanks so much bazarus & mr8ball. Express Mail is a bit off my budget and i'm looking at Air Parcel Post which is more affordable for me. Is this ok? Also, when using USPS, does the package get delivered at your doorstep or is it a post office to post office delivery? Thanks!

A case is not worth the extra shipping costs. I would probably just go with Global Airmail Parcel Post insured. That's to your door delivery and it should get there in about 5 days for $35 USD. Have him actually take it to the post office to make sure he is filling out the right customs forms and get a proof of mailing. It will not be trackable. International Express is trackable but it's expensive.

Just get Air Parcel Post with insurance. The packages usually gets deliver at your door, sometimes there are additional charges for couriers. Each country have a different system for delivery. As soon as package leave USA there is no control or tracking posibilities, that is why you must get insurance.

Thanks TATE

Another question TATE...does the transit time include weekends or purely business days? Thanks again :)
