Hi, new member here. Hoping to get some opinions on whether or not this Hoppe cue butt I bought a few weeks ago is fixable. The condition is a bit rough. It did not come with a shaft. The biggest flaw with it is the joint pin is almost completely sheared off. The brass joint barrel is a little loose as well. A few dents and scratches here and there. There is a small crack on one of the veneer points and the rear end cap and bumper is loose. It also has a slight roll to it. It's most notable if you roll it slowly across the table. The leather wrap seems to bulge outwards a bit perhaps that's what's causing it. I was hoping to turn it into a useable cue. Are any of these issues fixable or worth fixing? I only paid 100 bucks for it so if it's a loss at least I'll have a nice antique conversation piece. I posted a link to photos of it. Unfortunately the files are to big to upload directly here. Please note that the colors in the images are brighter than they really are. (I did not white balance properly)
Any advice is welcome.
