Advice - selling a mildly warped shaft on eBay?

hi! my buddy works at a poolhall and although they don't sell predator shafts, they do sell other shafts and cues from local cuemakers. i raised this question to him, and he said that your shaft could sell at most 1/4 of its original price.

the reasoning behind this is reduce 1/2 for second hand shaft, and then reduce it again by 1/2 because of the shaft damage.

I'd like to sell my mildly warped Predator 314 shaft on eBay and was wondering what a fair price would be?. Do you think I would do better to start a no reserve auction at $1.00?.
Have you contacted Predator or the dealer to see if they'd trade?

And is it really warped? Don't roll it on the table, that doesn't really tell the story. Sight down the shaft and turn it. Or roll it with the tip on the cushion, and the joint on the table.

Sounded like it was in the taper to me. I would think it it quite usable. List it and descibe it to the best of your abilities...no reserve/ all sales final. Anything is better than nothing.

Anytime you want a GOOD estimation of what an item will sell for on ebay, look at completed ebay sales. Just type in "predator shaft" in the search box. Then, when you get the results, click on the left side checkbox where it says completed items. (I believe you have to have an account and be logged on to do this). Now you will see the completed sales from within the past few weeks. I saw about 4 or 5 used 314 shafts that sold for about 100 to 130. If all your shaft has is a 1/16" wobble, it should get at least 100.
