I am trying to find a good product to use to clean off the the top of rails to rid them of the fingerprints from the installation. Something that is safe on all finishes and will not get onto the homeowners hands and end up on the cloth.

I'm a big fan of QuickClean. I personally carry a case of the stuff with me on installs. I used the wide brushes that I sell with it to wipe any debris off the bedcloth, and the microfiber towels I sell with it to wipe down the rails. Make sure you do this in front of the customer, preferrably while you're talking about table maintenance. Easy upsell on any move, recover, or new install.

For the record, I think ChalkOff is basically the same stuff.

You can send me 5% royalties/commission for that idea to my PayPal at ClubBilliards@........ ;)

You're welcome

I have been told that Chalk Off ripped off the idea from Quick Clean, a small business man who posts here. I go with Quck Clean and support the fellow poster... whose name now escapes me.

Edit: Did a search; The guys name is David Hodges. www.Quick-Clean.com or 1 866 240-2789 toll free

I have used the differnt polishing wipes that come in a bag or a tub that you pull out one at a time. Some work better than others, Nothing works as good as plain old water and a soft rag to remove smudge marks from the tops of rails.
