This afternoon I took my cue to have it re-wrap (Linen) by a well known Dallas/Ft. Worth area cue maker: Steve Klein. He also taper one of my extra shafts that I had that felt like a baseball bat, plus put on two tips.
I am writing this Thread just to say what a gentlemen Steve is. Not only does he do beautiful craftsmanship work (He has re-finished two other cues for me in the pass). Steve took the time to explain how the different machinery in his shop does different parts of the cue, talked about different wood, etc...., along with a whole bunch of other subjects.
It was good see what goes into our cues, even when it comes to a wrap.
My appreciation to Steve.
