Was the prongs made by you? Maybe when the coating is done you could post a picture of the cue facing up and directly front and a close up of the forearm and the veneer points.
How do you like that osage? We have a common tree locally that is similar to osage, and the wood is bright yellow, hard & about as dense as maple. I have some cut up but have not used any. Seems like a great wood for cues, and is domestic.
I like Osage. It is very hard. I think it hit's harder than maple by quite a bit. I have 4 break cues I am building out of Osage and purpleheart as well. They should hit super hard. Will post some pics of them also when completed.
