Lol
I know you meant it in a joking manner but you touched upon something that just adds fuel to the fire in this forum and makes threads into 10+ pages of name calling and sly digs at each other.
The taking of sides. It takes the enjoyment right out of the aiming section for me.
If I saw a guy getting beaten to a pulp on the street by 6 thugs for believing I something I am against, I wouldn't go a join in on the beating. But that's what seems to happen on here and it is seen as the norm and ok. Arguing isn't fun. Learning and sharing what knowledge you may have is fun. I've been guilty of kicking a guy when he's down on here, I think most have. I put it down to my age at times. I don't know what excuse the older gang on here have though. Take CJ for example and I hope he doesn't mind me using this as an example. We clashed all the time in the past. We had differences in opinions on about nearly everything. Its hard once you clash with someone to then take a U turn when they post something good and say nice post. I've come to respect CJ a lot more for putting up with the crap I threw his way. It doesn't mean I still agree with 100% of what he says, but when I disagree I keep my mouth shut as to not distract others who may use his posts as a learning tool. Now, the only interactions we have are when I acknowledge a good post by him, and visa versa. It makes life less stressful.
This is what needs to be done in the aiming section. People need to stop the bickering because it isn't helping the people wanting to learn about such systems by reading through multiple pages of crap.
I agree totally. Aloha.
