So I read these aiming threads most of them are silly. I came across a thread that suggested not looking at the cue ball last. It had never occurred to me to look at the cue ball last as I am stroking the shot, as my mind wants/likes to look at the object ball.
So I wanted to do the opposite of what this thread suggested. So I started lining up and just focusing on a single spot on the cue ball and stroking through it .....
damned if I didn't start making almost every ball ....
I think what is happening is that I am being forced to trust the line I have made for myself and focus strictly on the stroke I want to put on the ball.
btw, I think this works for me because I am an avid golfer. When putting you must forget about the line when you stroke the ball and just make a perfect stroke...usually I focus on a specific dimple on the golf ball.
just thought I would throw that out there with the rest of the crappy aiming threads ....while they are still a popular thing to talk about ....
