How to aim with one eye or Two?
Players that aim with one eye. it's called occular vision. They could put a patch over one eye and the shot still looks the same. They aim like they are using a telescope.
This accounts for about 2% to 5% of the players around the country.
Players that aim with 2 eyes make up the rest.
When they cut any ball to the left it is the whole left eye that does the aiming and the outside of the right. When they cut to the right it is just the opposite.
Your going to get allot of screwed up answers for this from people that don't have a clue.
this is the way it is. It's the way the eyes naturally work.
Once you understand this and learn exactly how this works you can correct your aim on any shot.
If not just need to keep guessing and do the best you can.
Can you elaborate or provide a source, preferably relating to aiming in pool? That way we can apply the knowledge.
I learned to play young without any thought put into aiming. Having quit for years, suddenly aiming was difficult. I tried getting low on the shot with dominate eye over the cue, then with eyes centered over cue... screwed me over.
I'm fairly certain I remember playing with a much more erect stance with eyes centered over the cue.
I've obviously never used an aiming system and probably never will, but I won't ignore science.
