Old swampy and slow is good blues, include Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, the modern contemporary version of blues just don't have the heart or broken heart.
 
RL was great. Was listening to him around 1996 or so, after "Ass Pocket" came out. Saw him live in San Diego around 2000. Great stage presence for someone who sat the entire time. "well, well, well!"
