one way only

hi eydie, missed you and bob at VF. how have you been feeling? listen, those one way fares are usually the fare with a purchase of a roundtrip ticket. the roundtrip fare would prob be about $200ish. you may want to double check, but im pretty sure (since i work for southwest).....:) regardless, we still have the best prices. take care,
joey

AYY Joey! How ya doing?

Yeah, I got this price leaving from Midway Chicago to Orlando Fla: Just as you said! Interestingly enough when I check the really low rates that they advertised, they were not there.... I am baffled. Why would they give such low rates then when you price it, the price is double? HELP!

just as i suspected

ok, i guess i was right. wasnt to sure at first, but i was shopping for ATA tickets for a friend of mine, and it was the same way. one way is real cheap, but roundtrip is double or triple. its not only southwest. actually, i doubt if youll even be able to beat that price.with gas prices today, ill bet it would cost you that much to drive, not including the headache. the earlier you book the flight, the better. also, sometimes the flights are cheaper if you take a flight that stops somewhere along the way. also, i think different times of the day might make a difference, not too sure about that though.
good luck and take care,
joey

My brother uses Southwest Airlines quite often when he's traveling from California to D.C. It is DEFINITELY cheaper to buy TWO one-way tickets. He does it all the time. Why this is, I have no clue.

The above-referenced prices are very reasonable for flying into Orlando. Can't beat it! :)

Now how can I pass up on a tournament called "Donald Duck's Big Quacker"? Does anyone know who's doing the trophy presentation? Oh, and what will the answer be to the all-time question, "Now that you've won the Orlando Open, what do you plan to do next?"

All kidding aside, this looks like a really fun event that's gonna be nearly impossible to pass-up. I gotta check my schedule.

Glad you asked that question. I put a call in to Donald and Mickey. They stated that their appearance fee would be $700 pr 1/2 hour. Yes, that is correct. I kindly turned down the oppertunity

So, if anyone is looking for a presentation by a small animal, we could convoy it to the Magic Kingdom awards in tow, and crash the line at Mickey's house! LOL :D

Other than that glad you are looking at your schedule. Looking forward to seeing many of you all there.

Eydie
