Does anyone know if there are any decent pool rooms in the Akron area? Going to be there next week for a few days.

I haven't been there in 5 or 6 years but I'm sure you can find some kind of action there.
I just went there a couple times just to bang some balls around. But it was pretty nice back then.
 
Fiddlestix is actually located in Canton. Not too far and it is very nice, but there are closer choices. One is Crown Billiards and the other is Ball Busters, both in Akron. Crown used to have a Monday night 9B tournament & probably still does. Don’t know about Ball Busters.

Fiddlestix has Saturday night tournaments. This coming Saturday (4/5) bj's pub in canton has a chip tournament with Calcutta and some side action there as well. PM me if your interested in directions to bj's. It's a pretty laid back tournament. But if you're looking for a place to shoot ball busters has two real nice 9' diamonds but fiddlestix in canton is well worth the drive. Awesome environment.
