Albrecht Custom Cues

I am glad to hear the cue plays so great,i havent had the chance to hit with an Albrecht but if i bump into Dave again i will certainly ask him to take it for a joy ride.See this is the thing that gets me,alot of people pay 3 times or more money for a cue that has 1/2 the bite.I would like to see Dave put his cue in a good players hands and get his name out there, the same with Sirca, they make such nice cues at such mindblowing prices.I certainly would like to get a cue with cork like the one you got, cork is nice.I always liked the Hercules tips also when i couldnt get a Moori. :)

Fast Lenny, it took my cue about 6 hours before it came "alive" I think at this point is where the tip started to break in.. Before then, it had good feel but it wasnt like it is now. Personaly playing Straight pool I prefere a Pressed Elk Master, 9 ball, I like a Triangle, with the Albrecht and the Hurcules tip right now I like it for Banks, as it transfers alot of spin to the balls. whitch makes those "Hold em up" banks alot easier.

Did I mention this cue is perfectly straight? no taper wobble, and the taper is excellent. The butt is also a little bigger than Im use to, but thats a good thing, I wanted this, yet its not butt heavy really, it feels "Balanced" just like the Ray Schuler I have..

The only real problem I have is the cue doesnt exactly fit in my case, so Im going to buy a case that will accomodate the extra length.. whitch suits me very well, I dont think I'll be using a standard length cue anytime soon, Im hoping after the Holidays I can get dave to make me a break cue.. with a Cork wrap no less..
