Alex & SVB Score Thread

Who is a better match for SVB in a 10ball race to 100? Dennis Orcullo or Ronnie Alcano? Who has the better break for 10 ball? I want to see the Phillipine's best representative try to dethrone SVB.

Spoke too soon.. You can't conquer the jungle if you don't get past the lion.:D

I will say it again. I was WRONG! Alex shocked the world. He is now one of my favorite players. He is 100% proof that the hard break is all about technique. I wonder how many people not in the know have laughed out loud when they asked him what he does for a living and he explains that he is a pro pool player and former world champion.

this match shows the importance of a long race showing who is best.

Haha, I guess you thought it was over when Alex was down over 20 games... at least you were right about the long race part... Go Philippines!

Philippino, Japanese, German, etc. I really don't value that nearly as much as heart and tallent. Both players are champions as for as I am concerned. I won money on Alex this time, but, I won money on Shane in the same match-up previously.

I don't either... but if you'll read through the entire thread and notice the person I quoted you will understand why I wrote it.

Here, I'll make it easy for you:

I stand corrected. Not knocking anyone else's opinion, just stating my own(great players are great players no matter where they're from). BTW, you know who I was pulling for since I already stated that I won money on this match.
