This is a conversion cue that my son and I are playing around with here to use on our 9' table at home. You just never seem to have a long enough cue sometimes 
So, we had this one piece cue which was labeled "All American Classic" which was a really a pretty nice straight grained maple spliced house cue. I've never seen another one but, guessing it's a Valley or some older house cue since it's been lying around the Pub for quite awhile!?
It's a fullspliced four (4) prong maple butt into a straight grained maple forearm which is something that seemed a little unusual....not sure who may have made these types of house cues?
Anyways, we've got it about finished up and left it a little long at 62" with an "LD" ferrule less setup at the tip with an old Triangle tip w/o any pad ~ shoots straight as an arrow!
The cue plays great -- I don't think I've missed a shot with this cue yet :grin-square:
We used an old school "Tad" style ringwork on the butt with a flat faced 3/8-10 brass pin for the joint with white phenolic rings as well as the buttcap.
Just having fun here in the shop during the rainy days :wink:
