ALLYAMONEY'S Varney j/b

Varney Cues

Handcrafted quality!

ALLYAMONEY was looking for a used Varney j/b so here is the one I hooked him up with. It was refinished recently in satin and upgraded with a new lam shaft. Pretty nice for a 1999 model. Enjoy your new cue buddy.:)

nice and Clean :)

Thank you buddy! Yes its clean...cleaner than the break room at the Board of Health.:D
This cue actually belonged to a friend of mine...it was his main player for about 7 years. About a year ago in a little poolroom scuffle some guys fell into it and broke the shaft. I had made him a sweet new BEM player so he wanted this one turned into a j/b. Notice the jump joint collar is actually the newer mahogany phenolic in order to match how dark the natural collars had turned. I also had made a new lam shaft for it but the new natural looked pink compared to the butt collar and the mahog didn't match well either. I finally got smart and used the original collar off the busted shaft so it matched perfectly. Removed a few minor dents & dings and some fresh satin....presto....good as new. He gave me the cue a couple of weeks ago to sell when he got his new BEM j/b...I put it in my case to show a few people...it broke the balls like a demon so I've been using it as my own and really hated parting with it. Oh well...at least its headed now to a good home. Sad thing is I don't even own a Varney j/b. I just can't keep one...every time I go to a tourney it seems someone has to make an offer too good to refuse. In the past 5-6 years...I doubt I've owned the same j/b for more than 30 days. I guess I'll look through the scrap barrel and put me together a BLEM cue.
