Alt. Ivory

Has anyone used the Alterative Ivory that Masecraft sells, for a ferrule? I ordered some larger dia. and received a sample piece that would be a good size for a couple ferrules. I'd like to try it.

I've used some alternative ivory that I bought on ebay for my butt cap and they cut and turn really nice. Really easy to work with and they look really good. Haven't try them for ferrule but I probably will in the new year.

Very Brittle...Chips easily, and hits very very soft IMO
