Is it practical to use a hallow aluminum tube with a maple core to core burl woods ?, Would the Aluminum tube provide additional stability for the wood ?

Has anyone tried this ?

If he did, I bet he wouldn't admit to it.
I believe Big Jon did. :D :D :D

make them, predador is getting rich with there smoke and mirrors, let's all buy trash wood glue it up and sell for $200:mad:

Don't knock success

Predator takes a very scientific approach to pool. They spend 100's of thousands of $$$ on research, and give yearly grants to university physics programs in order to further their own research and development. You may not like Predator products, but don't slander some one else's name when you don't have a clue.

Before you knock it, I suggest driving your lame a$% to Florida to check out their operation.

For the record, I don't play with a Predator.

Sorry for being so late, just got back from holidays. Al is quite difficult to glue well, it would not be my first choice. Of course I'm not a cuemaker either.
