This cue was never played until now. No dirt in the shafts, they look like Gus just made them. Made in 1984.

That's awesome. I'd love to have one someday like that just for the history.

Gus

Beautiful Gus, glad you got it in your hands. Can't wait to hit a few balls with it when we get together. Take Care.

yeah.... now that's the ticket!! Just keep dreamin' people... you get yo' chance too

That really is an amazing Gus, you weren't kidding
The veneer colors are incredible
Very nice original Gus Hoppe, and quite an addition to your collection of Szamboti's.

Thank you, guys. I always wanted a Gus Hoppe style cue, I begged and offered tons of money to Randy, Ken and Eric, but they wouldn't turn loose, I can't blame them one bit. It waited 30 years to hit a rack, and it snapped the 9 ball in.
Great cues need to be played in my opinion, and I would never buy a cue I can't break with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smeiRiqYTHo

Beautiful......

Wow Rod, that's one sweet piece cue history, I hope to own one someday. Enjoy buddy...:thumbup2:

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but is that really a Hoppe ring? It is pretty skinny.

I am in love with those veneers. Absolutely gorgeous cue.

Hi Rod:

I'm glad that I put this Gus in your hands and that you love it. Now, please help me sell one of my other two Gus cues to your traveling buddy.

Best regards,

Mike

Thank you, it is mighty pretty. I would rather have a thin ring, than a fat ring any day.
