That's one "Bahama Mama"....kind of reminiscent of some of Black Boar's work with a little falir of early McWorter. That's a real nice looking cue there, Bill. I've always been fond of that real figured abalone, not overused. It also ties in real well with red. Keith outdid himself with this one.

Holy cow! That is rediculous! Very impressive. Please help me out on this one, what's the difference between a floating point and an inlay? Those have to be the longest, thinnest points ever seen!

all floating points are inlays, they are pocketed in and traditional points are v grooved from the wrap out

I wis i could photograph this better, but the wood in the forarm is stunning!

I'M A LITTLE CONFUSED. ALL THE POINTS LOOK ROUNDED, WHICH TO MY KNOWLEDGE MEANS THEY ARE INLAID NOT SPLICED. I HAVE NEVER SEEN(TO MY KNOWLEDGE) A CUE WITH ROUNDED SPLICED POINTS. NOT THAT IT MATTERS, CAUSE THE CUE IS VERY NICE, I'M JUST CURIOUS.

everything is inlaid. it just was done with many overlapping re cuts, small radiuses and secret sauce :) to make everything perfect. Bill is right though. no pictures will do this cue justice. the abalone is top notch and the silver inlays coupled with the ivory, ebony and and bahama cherry encased in sapele is just super nice looking. the finish is like wet ice and is like nothing i've seen. it's absolutely gorgeous in person and i know will play a ton. Keith did a superb job on this cue and the custom sapele and ivory joint protectors set it off nicely. the case is also a nice touch.

THANKS FOR THE CLARIFICATION..... THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING. RECUT INLAID POINTS..... BASICLY POINTS INLAID INSIDE OF POINTS.

Bill, in case you haven't figured out, I call them like I see them. That post you made about JWs deserved bad rep and I see that after Will replied and/or contacted you about it, you have changed some of your posts in that thread to clean it up.....

**would have given that bad rep to anyone else that might have posted that material

and BTW, this is a beautiful cue
