Amazing new cue accessory

Probably modified for someone with some sort of handicap. I met a man a few years ago that had a custom prosthetic attachment that had an extendable bridge head on the end of his artificial limb. He played real sporty with it and could jump like a demon.
 
LMAO - It is the upper part of a microphone stand and it is being used as a joint protector Still LMAO Thanks for the laughs. :)

Yup. 3/8x16 thread...like a camera tripod...and common cue weight bolts.

But why is it there? What the heck did they do with it?

Must have had a purose....

I think it's rather obvious, Doc....it magnifies any english you use.
 
Put the shaft on and drill a hole on the floor, put the shaft in the hole, it'll be a nice microphone stand
 
I believe that it is a cue extender- this guy did not like using the rake, so he removed the bumper and found this stand clamp that fit the opening real snug. He probably tightened the swivel point on the clamp so that it is stationery. I bet that he used a six to ten inch wood dowel, that he kept in the cue case to clamp onto this device whenever he had a shot requiring the rake. The extender would be off center on the shot, but he learned to compensate on his aim. Just a guess- but seems to be the general idea from this set up.
