Who is this person and where are they from? They appear totally out of touch with reality. I have a copy available which I will let go for $350, FREE SHIPPING. Autographed to myself by Eddie which makes this book very rare.

I had an autographed copy I got directly from Weanie Beanie about 20 years ago. Not long after, I made the dreadful mistake to loan it to a one-pocket player who used to play in here regularly. I never saw him or the book again - live and learn.

I try to ease the pain by telling myself that over the 6 months to year before he borrowed it and disappeared, I'm sure I made enough money off him playing one-pocket to match or exceed what I could have eventually sold the book for. I'm not even a one-pocket player, but luckily this guy wasn't very good and it's the only game he wanted to play me in.

However...one and done. Things like this keep us on guard for the rest of our lives...think about how much you will never get beat for again.
I let someone borrow a $50 manual for a Procharger supercharger.....never got it back. Try to help someone and thats the thanks you get.

I'm borrowing one from someone right now, also a signed copy. I'm sure he would be really happy if I sold it for 15k and gave him half LOL.

No doubt they are great books, I borrowed the pair. I would gladly pay a few hundred for the two, its info that never gets old. I'm an accomplished player with limited one pocket experience, I feel a seasoned 9/8 ball player can learn a lot about 1 pocket from books and videos and these are a great starting point after you have some play under your belt. I can execute most shots, its seeing them that's the difficult part early on, these books make you think.

9 ball players become very good 1p players as they tend to be aggressive. One pocket is a mystery... a game that never really gets mastered ... always something new to learn. An ongoing challenge. Have fun and keep enjoying.

Absolutely, that goes for the game of pool and billiards in general. You can keep it in check for a little while but it will always remind you that you'll never truly master it.
