turquoise diamond inlays due this week, together with the buttsleeve...

sorry for the late updates. but here it is. cue has ivory joint and will also have an ivory buttcap. diamond inlays are ivory and blue marble.

They claim in another post that they use a hammer and chisel for all there inlays..

indeed it is true sir. inlays are done by hand.

picture below shows the amboyna cue points being made. you will notice it's a point on top of a point, and not a veneer. mervin, one of bebot's 2 sons, is the skilled hand for inlays and design.

even turning wood is done by hand... below is my very own pink ivory+ivory cue in the hands of bebot bautista himself.

the points and inlays of my pink ivory cue are also handmade.

our cues are genuinely handmade... and we can claim that with outmost honesty. what we have is a family who is passionate in cuemaking despite the very limited resources we have... and that's what makes every bebot cue special in a way. :)

Great work that is true craftsmanship. I sure out of a 1000 cuemakers in US, if they had to use the old woodturning equipment, tools and cut inlays by hand there wouldnt be a handful that could call themselves cuemakers.
