Hi All,

Little update for you on ABC and American Rotation Series. Series 4 currently underway and we'll have the finals for that at this years US Open in Oct. I'm in VA right now heading south to NC GA and FL to add rooms for series 5 Sept 22-Dec 12 which we're hoping will be the best yet with finals at Derby City in January. If you want me to stop anywhere just let me know asap.

We've made a slight adjustment that is very appealing to many clubs and indivdual players that guarantees 1 player from your local group gets the 1k min spot at our nationals. This option allows a room or individual to form their own group of 10 players and they play a round robin amongst themselves, once completed they have an inhouse playoff with top 6 (3-6 winner plays 2, 4-5 winner plays 1 then finals) someone recently suggested the 6th spot should be a wildcard pick? Up to you. What we're finding is that this allows the room to invite 10 players that are all close is range, usually strong B to A level and one of them is guaranteed to go. So if you're a good B or A please help out and start a list of players to form your own group. It's very simple and probably the best format to ever have been offered to aspiring pool lovers. Nobody is barred and there are no handicaps but nothing stopping you from hand picking your own 10 that you would like to play with.

Check out www AmericanBilliardClub.com when you can and this is the AZ article from Series 3 finals; http://www.azbilliards.com/news/stories/11442-american-rotation-championship-series-iii/ check out those payouts. We have been paying back about 120% to the players, that is pretty strong imo. We really need to add some groups to keep this going so please do your part in helping to build a united structure our sport desperately needs and deserves. I can be reached anytime at jttenball@gmail.com and we will do the scheduling for you. Just play your 9 matches of 15 ball rotation anytime within 9 weeks. Flexible, game improving and doing something good for your sport.
Cheers

This is a Great Series

Congratulations to Joe and Mark Griffin (CSI) for starting this series. Karen Corr and I will be visiting Champion Billiards (Frederick MD), Big Daddy's (Glen Burnie MD) and Top Hat (Parkville MD) on Tuesday, September 2nd to talk to the room owners about hosting American Rotation. We will be at Champions around noon, Top Hat around 3:00 and Big Daddy's around 6:00. Stop by to learn more about the American Rotation series as well as meet HOF Player and former WPBA Champion Karen Corr!

Best of luck to Joe

Magic 8 Cue Club

Just talked to Trevor and he has 5 people signed up already. Karen and I may swing by on Tuesday as it is only 10 minutes from Top Hat. Way to go Trevor...get-er-done!

I want to thank Robin366 and Wedge for their help. These guys are both trying to get at least one group of 10 players together for Series 5. Robin I enjoyed hanging and playing some 1p with you in that great little town! Wedge is also spending some time with Karen Corr ( who has helped us also) in NVA. area setting up some clinics and private lessons, tremendous value that you should look into if you live in the area.

This trip is going 100% better than last year's ground zero start, we have traction, history and help :)

Just got into Jacksonville from Raliegh tonight. I'll be throughout Florida for next 8-10 days and could as always use the help of some local pool lovers. JTtenball@gmail.com
10 players in any one area and we're good to go. Brick by brick.

Joe come thru Knoxville when you head North... We have a new room and the players now are in one sock... Likely we can get one started here which should lead to Nashville at JOBs and Windham needing to do it at CBC in Chattahootchie.....

I'll go with you from Knoxville to see Phil and Ricky if you want an accomplice.....

Very interesting concept and well though out. Are you going to be in the Flodida panhandle on your trip? I will see if our small group has any interest in participating.
Really glad to see this happen for the future of pool!

Thanks for the consideration. I'm hoping to exit the state via Zingales in Tallahassee, where do you play?

I believe the concept to be the best ever offered to pool players of levels B-Pro. If anyone has heard of a better one please let me know, perhaps we can improve.

We are in the Destin, Fort Walton Beach area but not sure we are B level players. We just have a group of players that get together twice a week to play 9 Ball. Participation varies from 3 to 6+. A few of the group plays in APA, level 5 to 7. Don't know if that is equal to a B player but all of us are in that range. (My opinion)
Thanks Don

Well I did B because I didn't feel like debating whether or not C players should be playing with pros lol. Here's the good news; if you have 10 guys all around the same speed it can work for them, will be fun and one of them would end up guaranteed 1,000 and be at Derby City. Might not do well in the nationals but will have a free week at the DCC.

Great, thanks for the input. I'll see if I can generate any interest.

Lots of Positive Response in Maryland

Joe, Karen Corr and I had a great trip yesterday. Magic 8 (Cockeysville) looks like they have 8 players already, only 2 more to go! Thanks to the owner Trevor for his hospitality. Top Hat (Parkville) also was very interested. Thanks to the owner Mike for his time and Jeff Brinkman (AKA Piano man) for their time as well. Jeff and I will be playing American Rotation at 11:00 am Thursday at Top Hat if anyone wants to stop by and play and/or learn the game. Next was Big Daddy's and Cindy Molineiro (Glen Burnie) we are hopeful that they can draw some interest as Shaun Wilkie, Brett Stottlemyer, Alan Duty, Andy Lincoln and others play their regularly. My home room Champions) also showed very positive results and we will be working with Gary Allen to get American Rotation started there.

I played some American Rotation today and did manage to run two racks. Played some 9 Ball after that and it was amazing how easy 9 Ball was after playing American Rotation.

Give it a try

I will be, have to see the best house pro in the biz or the trip would be incomplete!! Schedule got a lil curve ball as Im in Jax wanting to head south but have to be in Cocoa Saturday cuz they're having 8 player 500 entry and I haven't been to Xtreme yet? Really like what they've been doing and would love to have a group playing out of there.

Sharp Shooters Miami is in
Diamonds Cape Coral maybe two groups?
Strokers Palm Harbour is in
Capones Spring Hill is in
Two rooms invited in Ocala Diamonds and Boulevard, lots of heart in that area.
Out of nowhere came Port City Billiards very hopeful

Working on getting home asap but will stop at any enthusiastic clubs on the way, lil tired and so is momma. Who by the way held the first ever American Rotation Ladies New England Championship this past weekend, $5,000 purse won by Stacie Bourbeau and runner up Nicole Albergaria. What a great job all the New England ladies did by uniting and competing heads up in 15 ball rotation, very proud of them ;)
