I just wanted all of you folks to know, that the ACA, put on a very nice affair for us in Valley Forge, this past week-end. They had a nice dinner, and then gave out 3 awards.

The first one went to, me and my late wife, Janice, for being the Founders of the American Cuemakers Association, some 16 years back..

Then Jerry McWorther, received {cue maker of the year}, then cue of the year, went to Brandon Jacoby, of Jacoby Custom Cues.

It was a first class affair, and really went well.

My good friend Chris Hightower also attended the awards. Chris and his group of fine cuemakers, were at the show also. Thanks for showing your support Chris.

many thanks, to one and all...

Hi Folks, Suzanne and I, enjoyed the dinner and drinks with you guys. Were thinking about getting a motor home some day, when we do, were headin your way. Might take a while to get there, but we have plenty of time, drive 3 to 4 hours, pull of road and look at the sites on the way. She wants to meet my friends around the country... Gonna be a long ass trip, maybe 4 or 5 years if that takes place...

I'm about 3 miles south of I20 in Jackson, MS, Blud so be sure to drop by on the way east. You guys are more than welcome. Might even crank up a game of one pocket on my GC4.

Brandon Jacoby's cue was probably the most beautiful cue I've ever seen. Im really glad he won it. Immediately after seeing his cue I went to his booth and bought a Jacoby cue. Not only is he a great cue maker, he is a standup guy who made my buddy and I comfortable buying our first custom cues. I'm very happy with his product and will be purchasing more cues from him in the future. Congrats to all the winners.

That was an awesome event - two of my great friends were honored. Anyone who knows Leonard knows that he has done more for American cuemaking than just about anyone else. The Jacobys and I go way back and their designs have always been nice and well thought out.

Brandon Jacoby has always pushed the design envelope and this time the people chose rightly to award Jacoby Cues the People's Choice award.

And honestly, all the cues on display were winners. All of the cue makers who pour their being into those magic wands are winners.

Congratulations Blud. You and Janice put in a lot of road miles and heart miles making the ACA happen and paved the way for a lot of cuemakers to prosper.
