I see from the AMRO website that Billiard Den in Richardson is a sponsoring venue, or a venue at least.
I wonder if the Den is under the same ownership as it was a few years ago, when Billie Incardona and other Dallas area notables showed up every Wednesday. The crew usually came to play one pocket, taking advantage of four good Diamond 9-footers, but those tables were removed, apparently after some falling out between the owner of those Diamonds and the owner of the Den. The guys were sure the owner would get sideways with the pool players sooner or later, and it was sooner as far as I could tell. Every pool player not signed up for a league quit the place, all at once.
So my question - is the Billiard Den a viable venue, and does anyone know if it still has a hard case owner who mistreats staff, customers and pool players at every opportunity.
