I was talking to a friend of mine about American Rotation.

I understand that there has been a rules change surrounding the way the game is played concerning the break.

Does anyone know the rules and the rule change?

I have a copy of the previous rules.

I emailed him this morning, Im sure he will respond Im playing with a friend in a couple of hours and was thinking about playing Am Rotation along with our usual One Pocket.

I don't know of the rule changes, but as mentioned, Joe is responsive.

I played a couple sessions of this great game.

When 1st presented pages of rules, I was all WTF? What's going to be my strategy?

The rules for the 1st rack were hard to wrap your head around. Yet, once done, made sense.

An AWESOME game to play. But you better play damn well and IMO, there's the rub.

Only rule change is that its break ball in hand from the get go, every rack and alternating breaks every rack.

We played with ball in hand for every rack starting last session. Were we doing it wrong?<br/>
No you were correct, changed a long time ago.
