This is not a call out thread, and im sorry if anyone takes it that way.


I just heard the news about McBurnie the Barber dying from an overdose this afternoon.

I know you had been running with him and his crew for the last year or so now, and had been hearing you were back into the same shit he was into..



I dont have a number for you since you got rid of your phone, and nobody else I can think of knows how to get in touch with you, so forgive me on this thread. But I know you used to read AZ all the time..

We had our falling out over stupid shit that was business, and I tried for it to not to spill over into our friendship, but it obviously did.



We havent talked to each other for quite awhile now, but I still talk about you all the time. People ask me about you at least a few times a week, and I never really know what to say, other than, 'I have no idea, I havent heard from him...'.

Just this afternoon, before I heard about what happened, I went up to see Big Gay Al, and he asked about you..



I worry about you bro, just as everybody else up here does. We miss ya..



If your on the path we've been hearing, you need to get off of it. Im more than willing to do what I need to do to help you out.

Just get in touch with me and come back into the fold...

I know you owe DM, CY, and BGA money, but I'll work that out with them. We can squash whatever issues came between our friendship, and figure shit out..



Come on bro, we played on 3 teams together, went to TAP Nationals twice together, Super Billiards Expo together, and shot almost everyday of the week together.

Had my best buddy from high school commit suicide. I had been planning to see him about 2 hrs away after many years of not seeing him. A month later he did it. I had no idea he was in trouble, but can't help think I would have known if I'd been able to see him as planned.

If you sense there's an issue you keep on going til you sure there isn't one. Best of luck.
 
I hope you can reach him, literally and figuratively. You sound like a good guy to have on your side.
 
This thread starts as a heartfelt call out from a genuine friend. To whomever it is sent to - please reply to your friend, it can't hurt, it can only help.

30 years ago I was very sick. Some friends got me to a hospital, and the people there got me proper treatment. After awhile things started getting better.

Today, I am a pretty happy man. My life was changed because someone cared, someone got me the right help at the right time.

I hope you hear your friend's call and let him give you a hand up.

Haven't had any luck yet in contacting him, but I'll keep trying..

He needs to get back into pool. Pool keep him on the right path..
