An artistic billiards competition

Artistic Billiards is fun to watch. Some of our shots are derived from this. I believe there are times where silicone is applied to the cue ball but I don't have the program to see. I saw an artistic billiards demo at the SBE years back and the first thing the guy did was spray silicone on a towel and wipe the cue ball. Silicone or not, it is still very impressive.
hi, during UMB/CEB artistic carom tournaments they never apply silicon on the cue ball .
In some clubs -like mine- , on the artistic carom table they sometime apply a very light touch of silicon on the bands when they aren't 'new enough' , but never on the balls. (for that, they are using a shoe care product, a kind of sponge )
But a couple of champions told me that in some of their trips on south america they've seen players apply some silicon on the balls for some shots.

Here is the recent European Championship finals. They seem to show all the tries for this one but it's interesting to see how they miss.
