This was posted in the funny pic thread. I found it interesting that since the apparatus is set down on the playing surface, a pendulum apparatus could have been chosen but instead a piston like apparatus was utilized.

Just intended as food for thought. No discussion or argument necessary.

Believe me, I certainly know we are not machines. I just found it interesting.

For those that do not know, I advocate a piston like stroke. Many instructors advocate & teach a pendulum type stroke & they have their reasons.

To each his own & everyone should make their own choice. I just found it interesting.

Of course not. How foolish of you. It is very obvious that she is using 'OUTSIDE' ENGLISH!:wink:
 
I heard that Rick applied to be an instructor at this game in 1942, and even with his 29 years of playing experience, they denied his application, which contributes to his bitterness to this day.

I've got diddly squat against the picture, its great, magnificent infact.

What I don't find interesting is the "mirror mirror on the wall" syndrome you seem to have. The only reason you posted it was to flare up an argument about what stroke is best.

Mirror mirror on the wall who is the brightest of them all?

(In other words, it should be "definitive" to you what stroke is best, just by looking at the picture. "After all, hint-hint, nudge-nudge, I'm right, aren't I?")

The statement in bold in the above quote is a pretty much textbook definition of an Internet troll. Funny, we're the trolls in his eyes for pointing it out.:rolleyes:

Isn't overt trolling against the posting rules on most public forums? Shouldn't action be taken to stop this type of behavior for the good of all concerned?

Bob, you certainly posted that image for a chuckle or two (and rightfully so, in NPR, because your intent was purely for humor value). However, the creator of this thread is regurgitating it here for a COMPLETELY different purpose. If you're familiar with this OP's posting history, you'll understand why.

The fallout you see in this thread is precisely because folks see clear through this thread creator's intentions. It has NOTHING to do with you.
