I did this once 5yrs ago
Set-up a Chinese desktop router with Mach

The machine doesn't jog yet

I still remember how to tune the motor but I need help getting the motors to jog first

Tab brings up the jog menu then you can mouse click directions. If Mach is set to default you can use arrow keys on keyboard from the run screen too

It doesn't jog, starting to think it just needs some movement daily the machine hasn't run in I don't know how long

My old one that sat for a long period also needed some time to get moving again

They aren't jogging it no

, On the diagnostic page there's no pulse frequency

Kernels set to 25 k in ports n pins

When increased to 45k , pulse frequency shows it as well, but emergency alarm will not clear, and I'm told by them on the machine forum you want kernels low as possible anyways

Do your motors energize when Mach is enabled?

If your resolution is high (good) and your micro stepping then the pulse frequency may be more than the lpt can output in which case Mach won’t run them and you will need far more than 25khz. This is the same reason you won’t find ac servos driven from lpt and Mach.

What r your steps per rev? Also may want to make sure acceleration is not set to aggressive

Yes they energize

This is default for each axis, same for each

Is your jog control turned on? there three settings On, Off, and INC. be sure you have it toggled to the on position.

You should be way good, those are driving miss daisy settings

2000 steps per seems low

Did you set ports and pins or just open default and hope it would work?
