The IPT ladies and their standings in the ranks. Since the last tournament is IPT players only, I wish to be the first to offer congratulations to Sarah Ellerby and Allison Fisher for securing their tour cards. Loree Jon could be passed by some of the other tour card holders, so she's gonna have to "bring it" in Chicago. Gerda also has a legitimate chance if she steps it up in Chicago.

Place..........Player...........................Money

73rd...........Ellerby, Sarah...............15,779
86th...........Fisher, Allison...............12,429
97th...........Jones, Loree Jon...........10,317

130th.........Fisher, Kelly...................8,967
132nd........Corr, Karen....................8,769

It really doesnt matter which of them makes it in the top 100. None of them will ever seriously contend for a title in one of these events. I'm sure if the IPT's guaranteed money is there it makes sense to "show up" at these events and make some decent jack compared to the WPBA, but that's about all it amounts to.

I wonder how many of these ladies are going to try to qualify next year?

How well do you guys think Jeanette Lee would have done, in comparison to these women?

I think she would have at least been around where Gerda is, probably around 80th. The tough physical demands of the round robin format might prove tough for Jeanette if she qualifies.
