All,

Andy Gilbert cue that he donated to support Eva Finchum in need of Liver Transplant will be drawn for the winner in 20 minutes.

I had some nice people buy raffle tickets in good faith that I won't cheat them and would like to offer you the same deal.

Tickets are 1 for $5, 3 for $10 and 7 for $20.

All proceed goes %100 to Eva.

I will post the winner even if you don't know who it is:smile:

Bill H. the owner of the pool room won the Gilbert Cue...

I know it sounds rigged, but I asked someone who didn't buy any ticket to draw - I checked his hand and sleeve to make sure there was no funny business:)

Some guys have all the luck...

Not trying to pluck the wrong chord but most raffles like this I have seen exclude anyone withing or near the drawing party. The radio stations in New Orleans have raffles and their employees and their employees' family are excluded.

I forgot to thank the nice co owners of Brickyard Billiards (Tommy Stayton and Bill Hollingsworth) for hosting the tournament for Eva's benefit. Did they not only add money to the tournament, but gave up their regular "Big Tournament" spot in order to not conflict with Eva's benefit tournament. Brickyard billiard (formerly Ariport Billiards) is under a new ownership and have gone through major remodeling and upgrade. I know that this event will put a big dent in their gross and pocket since they are adding money to the event and not getting much profit back.

Maybe there are people who feels funny about one of the owner winning the Gilbert Cue or being able to participate in the raffle, but the bottom line is that Mr. Gilbert donated the cue for Eva's cause and I sold the ticket to anyone who would contribute. I myself bought tickets- not for the motive of winning an awesome custome cue, but because I know 100% of proceed will help Eva and her family toward her medical bills.
